MindraNotes is a calm place for notes, lists, tasks and projects. A thought lands on Hem the moment you write it. Lists are made in the text, and a date you write becomes a reminder you can undo.

What it does
Simple on the surface. Careful underneath.
MindraNotes opens on Hem, a grid of tiles, every time. There is no view to choose and nothing to set up before you write.
Tasks and calendar
Uppgifter groups what is overdue, today, tomorrow, this week and later, with done folded away. Kalender is a week strip you can swipe. Drag a note to a day to change its date, with Undo.
Folders open as panels
A folder opens as a panel over Hem, not a new window. Close it with a tap outside, a swipe down, Esc or the browser's back button. Subfolders slide into the same panel.
Lists written in the text
Type [] or - [ ] for a checkbox, - for a bullet, 1. for a numbered line. Enter continues the list and Enter on an empty line ends it. There is no type to choose first.
Format, draw and undo
Headings, bold, italic, underline and strikethrough that you see as you write. Draw with a finger or a pen. Every open note has its own undo and redo.
Code blocks and masked keys
Code goes in a block that scrolls inside itself. What looks like an API key shows as ••••1a2b on Hem, in search, in notifications and on shared pages, and stays hidden in the editor until you press Show.
Lock and encrypt
Protect a note or a folder with a PIN. An encrypted folder keeps its password, key and plain text in your browser; the server stores ciphertext only, files and drawings included.
Share, and let them tick
Share a folder or a note with people you name, as viewer or editor, without opening the rest of your workspace. A shared list can be ticked through its link only if you allowed it.
Your own day
Today, tomorrow, overdue and reminders follow your time zone. Choose it under Settings, Account, or let the device decide.
Overview
What is late, what lacks a deadline, project or owner, possible groups, and what got done this week, counted from your notes, not written by AI.
Done leaves Hem
A finished note moves to Uppgifter, Done, and after 30 days to the archive. Nothing is deleted. Your points and streak are your own, counted from your notes and never shown to anyone else; you can switch them off.
Install it from the browser
Add MindraNotes to your home screen or desktop with the browser's own install choice, or Install the app under More. Same account and notes on phone and computer. Sign-up at /signup/notes/ needs a name, an email and a password, nothing else.

Everyone gets MindraNotes. Heavy usage scales separately.
We want the thinking and organizing layer to be useful before you buy anything. That is why notes, lists, folders, tasks and the calendar are free to use.

Limited free allowance
Sorting and suggestions run without AI and are not counted. The two AI buttons, From a meeting and Read the text in the image, have 300 runs a month on Free and no cap on Growth. Files have 100 MB on Free.
Reminders
The note should come back when it matters.
A note with a date and time gives you a reminder at that moment, in your own time zone. People you add to a meeting get the reminder too. A date you write in the text is set for you only when it is explicit, shown as a chip and easy to undo.

A thought is saved on Hem the moment you write it. Suggestions come after, one at a time, by simple rules, and you can always undo them.
AI only where you press it
Two buttons are marked AI and are counted. Sorting, dates, the overview and the calendar are not AI, so nothing runs behind your back.
Private things stay private
Lock a note or a folder with a PIN, or encrypt a folder so it can only be read in your browser. Keys that look like keys are masked outside the editor.

Is MindraNotes really free?
Yes. MindraNotes is part of the Free plan, with no card and no website needed. Files have 100 MB on Free. The two AI buttons, From a meeting and Read the text in the image, have 300 runs a month on Free and no cap on Growth. Everything else, including sorting a thought, the overview and the calendar, runs without AI and is not counted. See Pricing.
Does MindraNotes use AI on my notes?
Only where you press it. Two buttons are marked AI: From a meeting turns a recording into notes and tasks, and Read the text in the image reads a photo. They are counted against your plan, and not at all when you run them on your own AdMindra Node. Sorting a thought, recognising a date in the text, and the overview of what is late or missing a deadline are rules and counting, without AI.
Can I install MindraNotes as an app?
Yes, from your browser. Open MindraNotes, then use the browser's own install or add-to-home-screen choice, or Install the app under More. You get an icon on your phone or computer and the same account and notes as in the browser. There is nothing to download from a store.
Do I need a company or a website to use it?
No. Sign up with a name, an email and a password and you land in MindraNotes: no company, no website, no setup guide. It is the same account as AdMindra, so if you later want the rest, adding a company is one choice away. Create a free MindraNotes account.
How does the encrypted folder work?
You choose a password and the folder is encrypted in your browser. The password, the key and the plain text never leave it. The server stores only ciphertext, files and drawings included, so nobody at AdMindra can read what is inside. A note can also be locked with a PIN without encrypting the folder.
How does sharing work, and can others tick my list?
You share a folder or a note with people you name, as viewer or editor, and the rest of your workspace stays closed to them. A public link can show a list, and the visitor can tick items only if you chose "Can tick". Ticking changes nothing else, and never works on a locked note or a locked or encrypted folder.
What happens to API keys I paste into a note?
Anything that looks like a key is masked as ••••1a2b on Hem, in search, in notifications, in reminders and on shared pages. In the editor it stays hidden until you press Show. For a note you keep keys in, MindraNotes also suggests moving it to an encrypted folder.
